November Wolverine Pullers

Newsletter

We've had a cold spell;  I think we were a little spoiled with the warm weather this fall.

Shortly we will have the info from the NTPA meetings and banquet (Dec. 9 & 10)

and it will be time to start planning next season.  We have a couple of new events in the works, co-sanction RN event with Arcola, IN not sure of the classes yet, and a possible

event at Sheedan, ONT, as well as a couple of other things in the works.

Our banquet is January 28, 2006, I have enclosed all that information.  Don't forget

about the go-karts that day, we have a really good time, if you have any questions just give me a call.  Don't forget to get your ballots in for the "Pull of the Year" and the

"Puller of the Year" before Dec. 15 (postmarked by then).  If you have a traveling award have it ready to go.  And during this shopping season, be on the look out for some good door prizes--I think besides the awards it is a real hightlight to the evening.

The December meeting will be held as origianlly scheduled, December 15.  There were only just a few other agenda items truned into NTPA other than ours.  The meeting is at the Charlotte, MI VFW at 7:30.  Elections are held at the December meeting.  The yearly terms to be elected are the President and Vice President.  We have 2 delegates that need to be elected and the FWD-Tom Worth, Super Stock-Ken Measel,

Pro Stock-Tom Harmon, Super Farm-Tony Sietsema, and At Large-Duane Creedon representative terms are all up for election.

We will be having a booth at the Fair Convention in Grand Rapids again this year.  The Fair Convention is January 12, 13, 14 at the Amway Grand.  If you are in the area and have time, stop in and see us.

I will be sending the membership forms out in December.

Congratulations to the Salenbien family on the birth of their new little boy.

I am hoping to get all the checks cleared from the summer, before I write out the points checks, so if you have a check or two lying arounds, run off to the bank and get them cashed.

Stay warm, and remember it is just 7 months until pulling season starts and that will fly by.

Take care,

Karen Allen
